Czaputowicz, Marta (2012) Rwanda After Genocide — Chances for Reconciliation. Prace Instytutu Profilaktyki Społecznej i Resocjalizacji 20: 7-47.

This article attempts at assessing the chances for peace and reconciliation in Rwanda after genocide. We try to answer the following questions: What steps have been taken to do justice to the victims of genocide? Have they brought the sense of justice? Do they contribute to peace-building? Is the reconciliation between two feud tribes possible at all? We took interests in the subject of Rwanda genocide during our studies at the Institute of Social Prevention and Resocialization. In the academic year 2005/2006, we spent six months in this country, lived at the Congregation of Little Sisters of Jesus, and were involved in their life and routines, working at school on an everyday basis. We had the opportunity to observe directly the complex process of peace-building and reconciliation in Rwanda after genocide.
